The Voice from the Past

Do you remember God speaking to you, long ago, when you were young, not really knowing at the time who you were hearing from? Sometimes you thought, am I crazy? Something inside of you was being stirred, you had curiosity about this voice.

His voice has lead you in dark times. When you thought of doing something wrong, maybe even dangerous, and He spoke,
"don't go there, don't do that, stop!" Some people may like to say that it is only "their conscience". Really?

The bible says, in
Jeremiah 17:9 (New American Standard Bible)
9
"The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

It was the Voice of a Holy, Merciful, God, through His Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who loves you, speaking to you, calling you unto Himself!
Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One, is calling your name!

In the Book of
Revelation 2:3-5 (New American Standard Bible)we read;
3and you have perseverance and have endured for My name's sake, and have not grown weary.4'But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.

How long has it been since you revisited the time in your past, of hearing God's voice speaking to you?
